Sunway pyramid —Home for raya

Overview

Sunway Mall’s Raya theme, “Home for Raya,” celebrates the heartfelt journey of returning home during the festive season. Drawing inspiration from nostalgic modes of transportation, the main concourse was transformed into a retro bus station, offering shoppers an immersive and vibrant experience. The campaign aimed to attract 20,000 daily visitors and engage over 800 participants in activities on weekdays and 1,000+ on weekends while creating a memorable shopping experience with fashion, food, and beauty offerings.

While working on this project, I collaborated with a 3D designer to bring the concept to life. I contributed ideas on structure, scale, and aesthetics, providing feedback and guidance throughout the process to ensure a cohesive and impactful design. However, due to the onset of COVID-19 that year, the project was not fully built or executed. Despite the challenges, it remains a valuable experience of creativity, teamwork, and adaptability in unpredictable circumstances.
